TEHRAN – The head of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said that gas supply to the country's major industrial units, including steel, cement and petrochemicals, has increased by 13 percent in the first five months of this year (March 21-August 22) compared to the same period last year.

Referring to the increase in the volume of gas supplied to industries in the current Iranian calendar year, Majid Chegeni said: “In the first five months of this year, major industries of the country received 145 million cubic meters of gas on a daily basis.”
